The 53rd International Paris Air Show was held in Bourget from June 17 to 23, 2019. AVIC and CATIC brought their various main technically advanced aircraft with potential market to the exhibition, including the J-31 Gyrfalcon and FC-1/JF-17 fighters, L15 advanced trainer, Wing Loong I UAV, Z-10ME and Z-19E attack helicopters, AC312E light helicopter as well as Y-9E, MA700 and Y-12 family transporters. The showcasing demonstrates the industrial capacity of the total industry chain system and international marketization.
The FC-1/JF-17 light fighter developed by China and Pakistan was flying again in the Paris sky. Its splendid flight demonstration showed its excellent performances, attracting those professional visitors. Each flight drew the applause and cheering of the visitors.

The Paris Air Show has become one of the important platforms that CATIC promotes its brand/image and explores the international market.
On April 29, the 3rd Aerospace Fair of Mexico was held at Santa Lucia Air Force Base, northeast of Mexico City. It is the second time for CATIC to attend the exhibition on behalf of AVIC.
CATIC showcased its UAV and trainer products, including Wing Loong I and Wing Loong II, Harrier I, L-15B light fighter trainer, K-8 basic trainer and AC312E multi-role helicopter. While the newly appeared Wing Loong I and Wing Loong II’s 1:1 static models attracted large amount of visitors with their inquiries, the L15 simulator also took many foreign pilots to experience the excellent performances of L15.
Through the exhibition, CATIC shows the strength of the Chinese aviation industry, promotes the understanding of the Chinese aviation products from those Latin American countries and enhances the exchange and communication with the Latin American military community.
The FAMEX, which takes place every two years, has become one the most influential aerospace exhibitions in the Latin American Region. This year of fair brought 505 exhibitors form 35 countries and regions, which is larger than the last fair.
